Help for Reading is designed to inform and actively support parents and educators working with beginning and struggling readers. We base our information and support on research from nationally recognized experts, resources such as the National Research Council and the findings of the National Reading Panel Report, scholarly publications such as The Science of Reading: A Handbook; The Voice of Evidence in Reading Research; Essentials of Assessing, Preventing, and Overcoming Reading Difficulties, along with up-to-date research in journals such as the Scientific Studies of Reading.
